Who we help:
Scotts Project Trust supports adults with conditions ranging from Downs Syndrome, Williams Syndrome and autism. Many of the service users possess communication issues, distinctive behavioural traits and sensory and physical impairments that impact on their ability to live independently.
What we do:
Day Service Activities runs courses designed to develop life-skills and confidence. The sessions take place in our modern airy facilities which include spaces dedicated to specific activities such as drama, dance, art, computing, catering and gardening.
"Everything is perfect. I want to say that if the Day Services wasn’t around now I don’t know what I would do without it"
Supported Independent Living– The Oaks and Willow are two well-appointed adjacent houses close to the Scotts site. We offer people with a learning disability the support they need to live as independently as possible. Some people with learning disabilities choose to live more independently. To meet this need, in 2004 we bought two nearby houses and equipped them for supported living. Nine people live there with support tailored to the individual.
"Thank you, my life at Scotts is the best one and all I ever wanted"
Residential Homes– in the terrace of three houses, accommodating 15 residents, we have a happy and secure environment in which a small group of people with learning disabilities can achieve the full development of their individual interests and abilities with maximum involvement in the life and work of the local community.
